Alhamdulillah another great function, fully attended with all the respected guests and DSRA Member present. DIG South gave a comprehensive presentation on the topic of the day, Drug abuse and enforcement of law on it. Force Commander ANF Sindh, Brigadier. Mansoor Ahmed Janjua, gave a speech on the reasons of its spread and what measures has been taken to control and eradicate drugs. It was heatening to hear from him that internationally Pakistan’s efforts were being recognized and applauded.
Honorable Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Barrister Murtaza Wahab advisor to the Chief Minister of law were forth coming about the increasing drug problem in the city. They promised to push on anti-drug abuse law in the legislative which would further tights the current law & punishments.
It was heartening to see that both the federal and the sindh government had agreed to joint action on this serious matter
